How do I care for my rug?

The care instructions for your rug will depend on the material it is made from. Wool rugs should be vacuumed regularly, and spot cleaned with a mild detergent. Natural fiber rugs, such as jute and sisal, should be vacuumed regularly and avoided exposure to moisture. Synthetic rugs can be vacuumed, and spot cleaned with a mild detergent. We recommend using a rug pad to protect your rug and extend its lifespan.

What is the difference between a rug and a carpet?

While the terms "rug" and "carpet" are often used interchangeably, they do refer to slightly different things. A rug is a smaller floor covering that is typically used to add color, warmth, or texture to a room. It is usually placed on top of a larger floor covering, such as a carpet or hardwood floor. A carpet, on the other hand, is a larger floor covering that is typically used to cover the entire floor of a room. It is typically made from a thicker, more durable material than a rug and is often used as the primary floor covering in a room.
